The Chairman of the Legislature seeks to form a special committee under Rule VII. E to study and review Chemung County Legislature redistricting and efficiency of county government operations. The committee will consist of five Legislators, including a Chairperson thereof, appointed by the Chairman of the Legislature, and will report its findings and recommendations to the Chairman.  Under Article II Section 203 (j) of the Chemung County Charter, the committee may utilize contracts with consultants and/or studies to be performed to assist in its purpose, which shall be subject to the approval of the Legislature.
